We had just rebranded PEGASUS, our mobile mail client to Tricast MAIL, and released version 1.1. In addition to that, we had also ported Tricast Mail for Motorola V3 (the hugely popular Motorola slim clam shell) due to popular demand. We believe this v1.1 is even better than most other mobile mail clients out there, you ought to try it to see for yourself. We had made some fixes that boost the performance of mail downloads, jazz up the GUI rich text viewer’s scroller to make reading an especially long email message ultra-smooth. Yes, little features and improvement you may think, but we are damn proud of it… we tested running on Motorola V3, opening an email with few thousand lines of text and found no problem, in fact it is very smooth and quick, very slick, considering that the Motorola V3 device has very low-end specifications.
On top of all these, we also revamped our website, included a new FLASH video showing all the nice features of Tricast Mail, and listed all the devices supported (23 in total, more to come…).

The revamped Tricastmedia website….
It was all good fun… here’s some snaps of the guys working in the wee hours of the morning over the last weekend.

Some of the devices that the guys get to play with everyday… cool isn’t it? Want a job here?

Vikas showing off another of his successful porting…
On porting work, we have more devices ported, including Motorola v3, Nokia N80, N90 N91, 3250, Sony Ericsson w810i, S700, Z520 and many more… see here for a complete listing of all supported phones.
