Another milestone met for AlwaysSEND.COM downloads. We are getting really very positive feedback on AlwaysSend, our free mobile email service. Downloads have increased tremendously over the last week after we announced our new release v1.1 of TRICAST MAIL (formerly PEGASUS) last week. Users have said they really like our user interface, and the many phones supported. Right now, this stands at 23, with 6 more to be added next week.

Other than product releases, AlwaysSEND.COM is also undergoing a facelift, we are re-designing the website to make it more user friendly. Check back next week to see what is in store for you.

We had just rebranded PEGASUS, our mobile mail client to Tricast MAIL, and released version 1.1. In addition to that, we had also ported Tricast Mail for Motorola V3 (the hugely popular Motorola slim clam shell) due to popular demand. We believe this v1.1 is even better than most other mobile mail clients out there, you ought to try it to see for yourself. We had made some fixes that boost the performance of mail downloads, jazz up the GUI rich text viewer’s scroller to make reading an especially long email message ultra-smooth. Yes, little features and improvement you may think, but we are damn proud of it… we tested running on Motorola V3, opening an email with few thousand lines of text and found no problem, in fact it is very smooth and quick, very slick, considering that the Motorola V3 device has very low-end specifications.
On top of all these, we also revamped our website, included a new FLASH video showing all the nice features of Tricast Mail, and listed all the devices supported (23 in total, more to come…).

Yes. After 2 months since our 10th April launch, we are going to release the version 1.1 of PEGASUS (Standard Edition) - TODAY… with many more fixes that improves the overall user experience, such as faster UI, faster mail downloads (implemented something we call “inertia scrolling” in your little email textbox when you scroll to read the content of your mail message), some feature enhancements, bug fixes etc. And yes, more devices to launch, including Nokia N80, the ever-popular Motorola V3 (which has been requested by many users), and others.
In addition, we also like to announce that PEGASUS would be rebranded as “TRICAST MAIL“. All logos and website material you found with references to PEGASUS would be changed.

We are getting really close to the next release of PEGASUS - the PROFESSIONAL EDITION. We’ve been working around the clock to get this beta release into your hands as fast as possible; and let us just say, it has been improved in almost every aspect and provide the much-anticipated attachment viewer feature…
OMEGA FORMS is the last piece in the development of our TWUIK Rich Media Engine (RME) for MIDP development (codenamed OMEGA). OMEGA FORMS allows j2me developers to create powerful applications with polished and visually-appealing UI, using TWUIK ultra-compact GUI library. TWUIK also support rich navigation widgets such as those shown in our previous postings here.
With OMEGA FORMS completed, we are proud to say, we are closer to announcing the BETA release of our TWUIK RME SDK, and the first application that is going to use TWUIK Rich Media Engine would be our flagship PEGASUS Mobile Mail. Be patient, we are brewing cool apps here.

We have been lying low for a while in preparation of our launch of PEGASUS PRO, our mobile mail client that supports rich attachment viewing. PEGASUS PRO service would be launched via our sister site, www.alwayssend.com, a full-featured web mail and mobile mail service. When you sign up to AlwaysSend, you would automatically get a FREE version of PEGASUS that allows you to pop your mail on our currently supported 16 handsets (more handsets to come).
